ADA compliance: When restriping parking spaces in a parking lot or parking structure, businesses or state or local governments must provide accessible parking spaces as required by the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design.  One of six accessible parking spaces, but always at least one, must be van-accessible. The required number of accessible parking spaces must be calculated separately for each parking facility, not calculated based on the total number of parking spaces provided on a site.

Cost: The cost of restriping a parking lot can vary depending on the size of the lot, cleaning requirements, material utilized, and the complexity of the job. 

Frequency: The frequency of restriping a parking lot depends on various factors such as traffic volume, weather conditions, and the type of paint used. However, it is generally recommended to restripe a parking lot every 12-18 months.
